Our History

Jack had always had a liking for the Doberman Pinscher so in 1977 we made the decision to get our first Doberman. Now we say never be without one or more. In 1980 Lynn was getting interested in the Northern breeds so after much research decided on an Alaskan Malamute. That was also the year we Registered our Kennel Name "Farrenmore " with the Canadian Kennel Club. By now we were into showing, obedience and breeding. At this time our Daughter Dawn became interested in Junior Handling so we attended all the sanction matches on Vancouver Island and shows in BC for her to compete. In 1994 Jack had begun showing Bull Terriers for clients and took a liking to them so in 1996 Lynn bought him a girl. We do not have a Kennel as our Dobermans and Bull Terrier live in the house as part of the family, our Malamutes prefer the outdoors (as most do). In 1997 Jack retired from the Forest Industry and Lynn is looking forward to retiring in 2010. Lynn has been teaching Dog Obedience for twenty five years. Our breeding program stresses temperament and the breed standards. Health testing is a primary concern and as new test became available we take advantage of them.
